Alan S. Davis
President and CEO

Alan brings 30 years of entrepreneurial, executive and legal experience in founding and successfully operating telecom and high-tech companies, leading all phases of operations.

He founded and was the lead general partner of Nashoba Communications, a highly regarded and successful Massachusetts cable television company which was sold to Cablevision Systems.  At Nashoba, he personally supervised the building of more than 1000 miles of plant, including the first fiber backbone for a cable television system in Massachusetts.  He also conceived of and implemented the Belmont Plan, an innovative public-private telecommunications partnership.

Alan also co-founded and was CEO of:  GlobaLAN, the first WiFi company in the U.S.; Sepaton, an early storage area networking company and currently an industry leader in virtual tape; Accell Systems, a telecom equipment company that developed a circuit which doubles the speed and range of DSL lines, and RadioLink Networks, a telecom equipment company that developed a unique, low-cost, high-capacity digital microwave radio for cellular backhaul applications.

Prior to his business career, Alan was a practicing attorney in Boston and Washington D.C.  He received a B.A. in history, magna cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
